Yoga Instructor Evan Rachel Soroka:

As a type 1 diabetic, Evan was drawn to yoga in her teens to help control her blood sugar levels. Instantly she gained better control over her diabetes by having a deeper connection with her body and mind “Yoga was the first tool that I used to make a difference in myself; now it is what I do to make a difference. “A graduate and former instructor at Corepower Yoga Boulder, Evan is currently working towards her 500-hr RYT with Gary Kraftsow in Viniyoga therapy.
Born in Brooklyn but raised in Aspen, Evan has spent the last few years working and practicing in South America. Evan enjoys teaching any class where she is able to provide a space of clarity for her students- where they feel safe and courageous on their mats. Teaching straight from the heart, Evan’s classes are powerful yet based in healing.
